The short version

The Family Keep tool runs entirely on your own device. Everything you type into your binder stays in your browser's local storage on your computer. It is never transmitted to us, stored by us, or visible to us. We have no user accounts and no database of customer information. We could not access, sell, or lose your binder contents even if we wanted to, because we never receive them.

What we do collect

Like most websites, our marketing pages (this page and our home page, but never the binder tool itself) collect standard analytics and advertising data:

• Purchase information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email address, and purchase details so we can deliver your access link and provide support. We never see your full card number. Stripe's handling of your data is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Advertising analytics. Our marketing pages may use advertising pixels (such as Meta's) to measure whether our ads work. These exist only on marketing pages. The binder tool itself contains no analytics, no pixels, and no third-party scripts of any kind.
• Email. If you buy, we may send you your receipt, your access link, helpful reminders to finish your binder, and occasional product updates. Unsubscribe anytime with one click.

What we never collect

The contents of your binder: names, contacts, medical information, account locations, final wishes, letters, and anything else you type into the tool. This information exists only on your device and on any paper or backup files you create yourself.

Your choices

You can delete your binder data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this website. You control your own backup files. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. For any privacy question or request, email support@thefamilykeep.com.

Children

Our products are intended for adults and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date. We will never change the core promise: the binder tool does not transmit your information.
