Terms of Service & Refund Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

What you're buying

The Family Keep is a digital organizational tool. Your one-time purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the tool for yourself and your immediate household, with lifetime access and free updates. You may not resell, redistribute, or republish the tool or its contents.

Not legal, financial, or medical advice

The Family Keep helps you organize information and record your wishes. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal, financial, tax, or medical advice, and does not create, replace, or substitute for a will, trust, power of attorney, or medical directive. Laws vary by state. For estate planning documents, please consult a licensed attorney in your state.

Your data, your responsibility

By design, everything you type stays on your own device, and we never receive it. This means you are responsible for safeguarding your own device, printed binders, and backup files. We strongly recommend downloading a backup file after each session and storing printed binders securely. We cannot recover binder contents for you, because we never have them.

30-day refund policy

If you're not satisfied for any reason, email support@thefamilykeep.com within 30 days of purchase and we'll issue a full refund. No forms and no hard feelings.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Family Keep and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the product, including loss of data you maintained on your own devices. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fresno County, California.
